Frequently asked questions

Why will my iPhone photos not open on a Windows PC?

Check the file extension first. If the photos are HEIC or HEIF, choose them here, select Convert to JPG, and download the JPG files to view on your PC. Other file problems may need a different fix.

What can I do when a website rejects my image format?

Check that the website accepts JPG and that your original file is HEIC, HEIF, or WebP. Convert the file to JPG here, then try uploading the result. This tool does not convert other input formats.

How do I convert a WebP image that will not open or upload?

Choose the WebP file, select Convert to JPG, then download the result. Transparent areas become white because JPG does not support transparency.

Can I batch convert iPhone photos to JPG?

Yes. Add up to 20 HEIC, HEIF, WebP, or LIVP files with a combined original size of 500 MB. After conversion, you can download multiple JPGs together as a ZIP.

Can I open an LIVP Live Photo and keep its motion?

For a supported LIVP file, this tool extracts a still cover as a JPG. It does not export the motion video, repair a damaged file, or restore the Live Photo effect.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?

No. File selection, decoding, conversion, and ZIP creation all happen in your browser. Your photos are not uploaded.

Will the JPG keep the original metadata?

Full EXIF, GPS, HDR, and color profile data are not guaranteed to be preserved. Transparent areas in WebP images become white.
